This copolymer acetol contains a detectable metal additive and has been specifically adapted for use in the food processing and packaging industries where it can be easily screened by conventional metal detection systems installed to detect food contamination (results may vary depending of the sensitivity of the metal detection system used). Acetron® MD has good mechanical strength, rigidity and impact resistance, as well as a compatible composition with food contact.
