Fluorosint® 207 lasts much longer than unfilled PTFE in wear applications and has a very low coefficient of friction. It is a preferred material for low pressure seats and seals where virgin PTFE fails and compliance with food contact may be required. In addition, the raw material composition used to manufacture Fluorosint® 207 stock forms conforms to the United States FDA regulations for plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
